Conference: The Parents of Galactosemic Children, Inc. are holding their Conference to "Prove Galactosemics Can", in Chicago, Illinois. You'll hear from experts in the field, including medical providers and individuals living with galactosemia. There will be "something for everyone" during the conference in the three programs offered for adults, generation G, and youth/childcare. For further information, visit the PGC site.
BBQ Fundraiser: Along the fundraiser idea, we have found a hardware store that is willing to run a charity BBQ for us. This event may take place in late August/early September....the details are still in the works!
Mom-to-Mom Sale: The mom-to-mom details are finally confirmed and table registration has started!
Dates:
Set-up: Friday May 29th between 7:00pm-9:00 pm (the gym will be locked up over night) and at 7:00 am before the sale
Actual Sale: Saturday May 30th between 8:00am and 12:00pm

The sale will be taking place in the gymnasium. To get there, take the main entrance into the school and proceed towards the right. Follow the circle around towards the back of the school. There are a few spots close to door which are perfect for unloading your vehicles. The entrance will be clearly marked!

The Mom-to-Mom sale is a fundraiser for Canadian Families with Galactosemia, a non-profit support and networking organization for families affected by the metabolic disorder.
Fee: $25.00 per table - if you would like multiple tables please e-mail janice_hughes@hotmail.com for special rates.
Before you send your check, please confirm/reserve your table through the above e-mail. Tables will be reserved for two weeks prior to payment.
*Please make checks payable to Highland Secondary School. An e-mail will be sent to you confirming the receipt of your check.
